Ancient Emerald merges my favorite two styles together modern and antique. I started this piece with a crackled medium to add a bit of intrigue and chaos and then balanced it off with thick layers of cold colored wax using pigmented wax and silver leaf. Measures 48×60”

Boxed In is a special piece. Not only is it the largest piece I have painted but has been a labor of love. It has taken me 2 years to complete as I can back to it often to changed details. The final product is a monochromatic black , white and gold abstract with heavy cold wax texture.
